Up Early

I woke up on my own this morning before my alarm went off.  It's been a while since I've done that.  I have missed my early mornings, drinking coffee and listening to the first birds of the morning singing, and having time to sit down and collect my thoughts.  It's good to be up and to have this time.

It's been a long recovery from being off meds for a week and being sick.  I haven't been up to par, not functioning where I was before.  It hasn't been awful, but it hasn't been great, either.  I've been in a sort of state of suspension.  Life has been rather bland.  I hope getting up early is a sign of better days ahead.

I am switching boats and moving over to payroll in admin.  The recruiting boat has been dead in the water for weeks, and I've run out of projects.  I can't handle sitting all day without anything to do.  I'll divide my time for a while before totally switching over. 

The right time is ANY time that one is still so lucky as to have.  ~~Henry James
