I've had my morning coffee, sitting on the front porch and watching the hummingbirds fight for exclusive rights to the tree. Sharing is not in their nature.
Work is much less stressful than it had been. I've been able to stay away from the twins, and after several false starts, there seems to be procedures in place to keep things organized and to account for the work being done. It finally feels like an office rather than a three-ring circus. And I'm back to 11:30 to 8 schedule. The plan is to shorten office hours to 8 to 5 at the end of August, with everyone on the same schedule. Cutbacks will be made then. That's the plan, but I'm not sure there will be enough work to keep everyone busy until then. We'll see.
I think I got totally stressed out without realizing it. I was really tired all the time. I'm just realizing it now that I'm feeling better. At the time, I was just trying to get through each day.
Here are some photos I took this weekend. It takes patience and luck to get a pic of the hummingbirds. They don't stay in one spot for long.
You are really keeping up the yard. Chester is very proud of you. And these pics are great. You have always been good with a camera.
ReplyDeleteFunny how sometimes you do not realize you are feeling bad until you feel better.
Did you get the tower oaks application back from me yet? I think it would be a good idea to go ahead and complete it and get it to tower oaks, and talk to them about not moving in until the house sells but having an idea of what you will be charged for rent, etc. What do you think?
Really great picture of the humming bird. Like you said, that is not an easy picture to get.
