Well, we are pretty much out of work for now at the Census, but we still have to ship out the binders used during the enumeration process. We've been told that we can't ship until the 26th, so I have no idea what we'll be doing in the meantime. Yesterday was the first day of school, and in honor of kids returning to school, we had another argument over how to do things. "You see, I was right. I told y'all, but y'all wouldn't listen to me. We're supposed to do it this way." It was right out of kindergarten. Fortunately, the OOS put a stop to it before it went on too long, and things settled down again.
By the afternoon, we had started taping boxes together to use for shipping binders, and we will soon run out of room for storing them until we can ship. Maybe we can build a fort...
I hope to have my deck fixed by this weekend. It's been nice to have a little break from making sure everything is in order before I leave for work each day. And I'm pleased to say that the house is still in good shape.
Well, time to close and get ready for work.
