My report today, like life, is a mixed bag this morning. On the positive side, I've acquired some healthy habits. For example, I do the items on my daily maintenance plan without thinking about it; they have become a part of my daily life. I am keeping my focus on the real world. I occasionally find myself daydreaming about something, but I can easily shift my attention back to the here and now. I have been eating healthy foods, and I lost 5 pounds this week. I've been going to church, which is another one of my goals. I have become more successful at making plans and carrying them out. I keep my goals visible as I make plans. I have a daily to-do list, and I have discovered that it is helpful to break one item into smaller tasks. Overall, I am seeing daily progress.
On the negative side, I haven't started a work out program yet. I keep putting it off for another day. I need to figure out something there. Most of the stiffness that I had been feeling is gone, so I have more options as to what I can do. Gotta get moving.
Neither did I do anything to get a job for the last two days. Those are two lost days that I can't get back and do over. The cold weather was a distraction. Something unusual like this cold weather has always distracted me. It's time to put the weather in its proper perspective and get on with it.
So, in conclusion, I'm not doing all bad, but I am not satisfied with where I am. Time to move forward.

The cold weather put all of us off our strides.
