I have my third counseling session today. I have to admit that I have some homework to complete before going. Nothing like a little procrastination... and a deadline.
In other news, I've got a job with the census. I start on Monday. Isn't it ironic? I finally start to draw unemployment - got one week's check - and I get a job. And my net pay will be less than I was getting in unemployment! But if I had turned down the job, I would have lost my unemployment benefits anyway. And, of course, it will be good for me to get out and interact with people every day, and to have more structure to my week. The job will be easy, but it's a very big deal considering I haven't worked in eight months.
Well, my coffee has kicked in now, and I feel fully awake and ready to go. Signing off to complete my homework.
This quote would have been more appropriate to yesterday's blog, but I just found it today. It's so true!
We are always the same age inside. ~~Gertrude Stein
I agree with Gertrude!
ReplyDeleteRemember this is a temp job and unemployment will be there when it is over. Also you have the back benefits to appeal.
I guess I am a NAG, NAG, NAG.
ReplyDeleteWhy are you a nag?????
