On the plus side, I'm continuing to plan ahead so I can easily prepare meals and take my lunch, I'm getting up early, taking my meds (and my vitamins) daily, staying away from the junk food at work, and last night I did some ironing and mending. Got my garbage out, too, although I've missed a couple weeks of adding extra bags. The yard has been so wet. Even with boots on, mud splashes up onto my clothes when I walk in the yard.
As I sit here and write, sipping my coffee, I can feel my lack-of-sleep-brain-fog lifting. Thank goodness for caffeine. It's early bedtime tonight.
So, yesterday I got to do verbatim training again in the morning, but I was pulled off in the afternoon. The big boss was in, and he decided that a new clerk couldn't do a good job of verbatim training. I understand that the group has to hear everything again. Poor guys. And especially my AMR who let me do the training. She gets a lot of grief. So, it's back to fielding calls and signing people up for testing.
I may work Saturday and take tomorrow off. I have an appointment with Jeremy tomorrow. We'll see. Nothing has been decided yet. They might not want a new clerk to work on a Saturday!
Last night I watched coverage of the meeting of the courts (or whatever they call it) in New Orleans, where the king and queen of Rex meets the king and queen of Cosmos. I didn't watch all of it, but switched back and forth from the Olympics. It was on for about two hours. I watched about an hour, hour and a half, off and on. Here's what I saw. The King of Rex was escorted onto the floor. He waved his scepter. The Queen of Rex was escorted to meet him. They waved their scepters at each other. They walked around the room, waving their scepters. Everyone was standing and applauding. I watched Olympics for a while. When I returned, the King of Rex and the Queen of Cosmos were waving their scepters at each other. They walked around the room, waving their scepters. The Queen of Rex was escorted to the King of Cosmos. Scepter waving ensued. They all walked around the room, yes, waving scepters. The Kings and Queens sat down. They got up. Queen, then King of Cosmos were escorted out. Queen, then King of Rex were escorted out. People applauded. They were standing the whole time. Apparently, it takes about two hours for them to meet, then leave.
Oh, yes. On Sunday I saw three red-breasted blue birds in my yard. They are such beautiful birds, with their shiny blue feathers. It was such a joy to see them.
Well, it's about 6:30. Time for me to get ready for work.

I guess you have to quit buying chips. Did not know you were such a chips fan. Is it the salt?
