Don't Skip Breakfast

I forgot to eat breakfast and to take my vitamins yesterday, and I noticed the difference.  It wasn't that I had trouble functioning or that I felt tired.  It was like eating fajitas without the sour cream.  They are fine without, but they are fabulous with sour cream.

I am still managing to avoid junk food, which is rampant at work.  I get a hankering for a Dr. Pepper or chocolate every once in a while, but so far, I've managed to resist.  All the other junk food (which resides in a container at my feet) is easy to avoid.  The taste is just not worth the calories.

I'm doing a fair job of keeping up with housework and working.  I've got some laundry that needs to be done, dishes to put away, some dusting to do, and bathrooms to clean.  The house is not pristine, but definitely okay.

Where has the morning gone?  It's time to sign off already.

  1. I agree with your post. Skipping breakfast is not smart. And that is from someone who did not eat breakfast until my Prince came along and made me believe it was important.

Have a crick in my neck; the worst I have ever had. Yesterday I wondered about meningitis since it was so bad and my head hurt so much. Today it is some better, with just the one side really bad. Saw the chiropractor yesterday and it was worse after the adjustment than before. Today it is about the same as before I saw her.

    Old age is hell sometimes.
