During quiet time yesterday I realized I was feeling lonely. I just tried to let that feeling be. I did not try to "fix" it. I didn't feel overwhelmed by loneliness; it was just there. Working on a sewing project felt soothing.
What's in my wellness toolbox for today:
- Daily to do list
- Social activities
- Paying attention to emotions
- Taking time out to calm myself whenever I start to feel scattered
I look forward to today. I feel happy, a little excited even. The trick for me is to focus on the real world, not get caught up in a fantasy world dreaming about what I would like to do. So, I'm outta here. Got things to do and places to go. I'll reflect on my day this evening.
